Here are some additional things to consider when drafting a local marketing contract:
The scope of work: The contract should clearly define the scope of work that the marketing agency will be responsible for. This should include specific tasks and deliverables, as well as a timeline for completion.
Payment terms: The contract should specify the payment terms for the marketing agency’s services. This should include the amount to be paid, the payment schedule, and any late payment fees.
Confidentiality: The contract should include a confidentiality clause to protect the marketing company’s trade secrets and other confidential information.
Termination: The contract should specify the grounds for termination and the notice period required by either party to terminate the contract.
Governing law: The contract should specify the governing law in the event of any disputes.
It is also important to note that the contract should be tailored to the specific needs of the parties involved. For example, if the marketing campaign will involve the use of intellectual property, such as trademarks or copyrights, the contract should include provisions for the ownership and use of such intellectual property.
